Why:  Post Rise Celebration! We’ll watch the skit video together.
Do: Invite your friends! Bring your gym clothes!

Sunday

What: Baptism Service & Element Time
When: April 25, Sun, 10:30am-4:30pm
Where: Willard
Rides: Be at NL by 10:30am; Drop off at NL at 4:30pm.

What: Element Missions Fundraiser
When: April 25, Sun – after service
Where: Willard
Why: In order to off set the cost for our mission trip!  Start saving your money!!

What an awesome time at RISE!  There were 420 students in attendance, rocking praise, a wonderful & funny skit by ELEMENT, and a convincing presentation and Q&A time with Dr. Craig.  Shout out to everyone who helped out!

For Interhigh Monthly #5 explored the worldview of Disney.  We learned that Disney perpetrates a very skewed worldview, especially on young people.  We looked at how the corporation, through it’s movies and programming,  discretely tries to feed it’s audience a worldview where both men and woman are valued based on how they look, where bad, abusive relationships are tolerated and even glorified, and how romance is the highest goal .  Beware!  Childhood favorites like Snow White, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Alladin are all full of these messages.
In P. Will’s message, we learned about what it meant to be a youth in the Church.  We learned that God never intended for us to be alone as Christians.  The Church is God’s plan to reverse the effects of sin in our lives.  Not only that, we need the Church to grow and change.  It is a place where we receive God’s love, and in turn, use our gifts to love others.  God has a special plan for every youth in his/her youth group.

• When: Departing from Northloop on 12/20 @ 3:00pm, Returning to Northloop on 12/23 @ 6:00pm

Wow!  Guest speakers gave overwhelming presentations on the complexity of the DNA and the cell.  They put forth a lot of information that really drove home the point that random chance just could not have produced the complexity we see in the cells and DNA of our bodies and all other living things!

FRIDAY, 12/4 – NO BIBLE STUDY

We will not be meeting due to InterHigh monthly on Saturday.

SATURDAY, 12/5 – INTERHIGH MONTHLY

SUNDAY, 12/6 – BAPTISM SERVICE

• Who: For Junior High and High School
• What: Small Group Time and Baptism Service (We will have several of our Element students getting baptized!!!)
• Time: 10-330pm – Please note that everyone is going to Willard for service!
• Place: NL
